Decaffeinated Assam Black Tea Loose

Our decaffeinated Assam black tea is bold, malty, and extremely tasty. It’s grown, harvested, and produced in the same way as other black teas. The caffeine is removed using the carbon dioxide decaffeination process, which allows the tea to retain its taste and fullest flavour.

The brown leaves produce a deep orange liquor that’s robust and full bodied. It's the perfect decaf tea for those wanting a strong cuppa particularly if you like a dash of milk. And since it’s decaffeinated, it can be enjoyed all the time day or night.

We recommend brewing this beautiful Assam decaffeinated tea at 100°C for at least 3 minutes. If you want added strength and maltiness then allow it to brew a little longer – patience is the key!

If you’re after a lighter and less strong decaf tea, then our Sri Lankan decaffeinated black tea might be the one for you. Alternatively, why not try blending the two together (50:50) for a medium strength cuppa like lots of our customers are already doing.
