Our Jasmine loose leaf green tea smells and tastes gorgeous. As soon as you open the pack, you’ll be greeted by this beautifully fragrant aroma. The smell is reminiscent of sugar-coated almonds that are popular in parts of the Middle East.

The Guangxi green tea, which has been scented locally, is the perfect base for the mellow sweet notes offered by the Jasmine. Once brewed it produces a pale golden liquor that tastes as good as it smells. It’s light, floral, sweet, and totally refreshing, which is probably why it’s proving so popular with our customers. When preparing this tea, you need to treat it with care. As with other green teas, it’s sensitive to boiling water. It needs to be brewed at 80°C for about 3 minutes using freshly drawn water. For those of you without a swanky temperature-controlled kettle (or a food thermometer), we recommend carefully opening the lid once the kettle has boiled and waiting a few minutes before pouring.
